Comment:	It was from the previous album that Petra started their excellent exploration of many different sound styles. After the synth rock of Unseen Power, here the guys calm just a little, but the lyrical strength of this album is something to be reckoned with. This album packs many important truths of the Christian walk into easily understandable songs. The simplicity but firm boldness of Good News and Strong Convictions are good examples of this. The acoustic flavour of He's Been In My Shoes is something really special too. Its wonderful to here a ballad with acoustic to the fore for these guys. Believer In Deed surely is a lyric that every true Christian could and should wish to be thought of them. Marks of the Cross is just a beautiful rock ballad of the highest order. And John memorably makes his first writing input into the mix, with his brilliant anthemic Just Reach Out. There are still some heavier tracks, such as the awesome Underneath The Blood and Sleeping Giant. But if you prefer lyrical quality over blasting ear melting sound, then like me, this album is for you!
