Comment: I've had Fixing Barbie for a week now; heard it on colourful radio, she's number 1 on the newcomers chart so I thought why not, and it's been on replay non stop! Glad I bought it before I saw this review because I think it's quite ignorant. This album has taken me to a place this last week...the whole album tells a story- it fits so well, and the moment I heard it I got it. 'Cue to Patois?' I think the person that wrote this review lacks alot of understanding. You sound a lil snobby rather than critical. So I'm not saying reviews shouldnt be objective, but this one seems like they haven't given the album a chance at all. The album is BAADDD- in a good way!! My favourite track is Light Outside... Making love sound confrontational? I kind of see where you're coming from; some people hear things and they are so unusual and complicated that our instinct is to switch off and reject (that's what I'm thinking you've done here). We fear the unknown don't some of us? As someone who isn't a Christian, maybe I hear it differently...but this album has made me see the 'God' that christians/catholics rant on about in a much more real, powerful and truthful way. I've got alot of religious friends, and none have managed to make me see how personal an real God can be like this album has. Sorry I'm A Christian is also a good one
