Comment:	Andrea Minichiello states that the public are in a confused state. Well, as a practising Christian and a member of the public I'm not confused at all. I think it appalling that this Christian was sacked but I remain to be convinced that it is religious discrimination. I see no difference (regardless of the usual arguments I'm sure will be trotted out) between gay or straight couples and I'm not in a position to judge even if I did have a problem with them. However, whilst I do not agree with the views of the counsellor in question, I think his approach to the situation was most balanced, considered and well thought through. To be treated in that way was totally unprofessional. He at least acted with integrity. I hope organisations learn to treat their staff with more respect as a result of this ruling.
