Just to shed a little light on the "David & Goliath" point: I heard an interview with writer/director Paul Haggis at the time of the films release. He said (and I am paraphrasing here) that for years we have told our young people of the story of the hero David standing up to the giant Goliath, and after the terrible events of 9/11 many young men and women signed-up to the armed-forces to be that hero David. But they discovered when they went to Iraq, that they were infact the Goliath of this war, and that his film was trying to capture the feelings of disillusionment. I think that is more or less what he said... Hope that helps, and thanks for your review. David F
