I can see where Dan's coming from; I've seen a few of these DVDs and didn't find most of them funny, either. I've also heard other US Christian comics (Bob Smiley, Jonathan Slocumb, Mark Lowry, Mike Warnke, etc.) and not laughed much either. On the other hand, the very first comedy album I bought was a Bill Cosby album, and the last one I bought was by Jerry Seinfeld...and I enjoyed them both. So maybe we should be asking why non-Christian American comics are funnier than Christian ones?
