I think you might miss the point of what [DWEEB] is all about. As you have impressive musical qualifications, I have to respect your opinion of [DWEEB] music. It may not be to your taste, but having witnessed [DWEEB] in action at H3 this weekend I have to respond. Firstly, [DWEEB] live is about communicating with predominantly young people (although they have very wide appeal) through their music initially but then using that avenue to bring the message of Life Eternal through a belief in Jesus. This they do consistently well. Secondly, I disagree that their music is the same as all (secular?) rock. How can it be when it is inspired by a love for and belief in God. Thirdly, they are a thoroughly professional outfit and I am mystified (with your professional qualifications) why you fail to be able to acknowledge this. You might not LIKE their music - but does this preclude you from accepting that the music they do is done very, very well? Forthly, why not come to H3 in Milton Keynes in 2009 ( you have just missed 2008)? You could see [DWEEB] if you wish - but if not, sit them out and see any of the other performers representing all genres of music. That's what a lot of the young folk do - they come to see [DWEEB] and at the same time are exposed to other Christian inspired performers and hence musically educated. Surely you would welcome this as an exponent of "music"....whatever form that may take? Don't wish to sound argumentative - but really want to support these guys as I have seen first hand what an amazing ministry they have. God Bless Chris!
