Christian Magistrate Loses Freedom Of Conscience Case

Clearly some have overlooked the obvious facts of this situation. Mr. McClintock was simply asking that he be excused from these types of cases so as NOT to have his religious beliefs infringe on the rights of others! Im sure that if this article had only focused on the "screening" issue and not continued on to tell his concern for children being used as "guinea pigs", some would not have been so against Mr. McClintock. This mentality that homosexual relationships are ok because God treats all sin the same is ridiculous. Thats like saying that if you have ever received a traffic ticket, you are dangerous toward the welfare of a child as placing them in the home of a known child rapist. While all sin seperates us from a relationship with God, the consequences of our sin in our human life varies completely. God does love the homosexual as equally as He loves anyone. But that does not mean that He wants to subject a child to the daily influence of a lifestyle that spits in the face of a Holy God. I am not a good parent (regardless of my what sin I am commiting) if i live a life that is blatant against God's law and yet try to justify it so that I may continue in my sin. I applaud Mr. McClintock for being a man of God, while at the same time realizing everyone's right to a fair unbiased trial. That is all he was attempting to do. Now he is being punished for taking a stand. Christians are tired of having our mouths duct taped anytime we take a stand on God's commands. I applaud you Mr. McClintock!
