Comment:	I saw "Amazing Grace" at a special screening last year, and ever since then I've found myself repeatedly defending it to friends of mine in the black media who think it's a bit of a whitewash (excuse the pun). However, after reading this piece - in which Simon managed to review the film without once mentioning the one black character in it - I'm beinning to think that those friends of mine had a point.
