Comment:	No offence, Steve, but i disagree that same-sex parents do have the same capacity to raise a child. if having homosexual parents was beneficial to a child's spiritual health then God would not have designed marriage to be between a man and his wife. The apostle Paul preached that "All things are permissable, but not all are beneficial or constructive...." (1 Corinthians 10:23, Romans 15:1-2). he also went on to say in verse 24 of 1 Cor 10 that "Nobody should seek his own good but the good of others." I believe that if the children are going to be harmed psychologically by lacking a father/mother role model, then those parents are not seeking the higher good of their children. what about the children's rights? This isn't about homophobia but about giving children the right kind of nurturing. One cannot choose one's natural parents, but let those responsible for placing children for adoption be mindful to what the child needs, without pandering to what i see as Political Correctness for its own sake.
