Comment:	Mike - you and Tom seem to convenienly forget that God's Word requires higher standards of shepherds and those in spiritual leadership. This is because they serve in a capacity that mirrors how God loves and leads the church. Any abuse by those people leads to far greater damage to the believer, ultimately damaging their faith and trust in the Father. After all, The Father, is trusting the care of His children into their hands. Stop making excuses for these spineless ministers...God doesn't.
