Eight studio and three live tracks from a band who are, according to the accompanying letter, “beginning to build a following among the churches in the Hull area for no nonsense, worshipful, light rock music that can be enjoyed by Christian and non-Christian alike.” I can only suggest that non-Christians in the Hull area are a remarkably tolerant bunch. For this is limp, stylised pop praise with some mediocre writing and poor singing (for example, the painful pitching on “Sing To The Lord” and “Thank You”). An excellent sleeve print and design can’t hide the very real musical deficiencies exposed here I’m afraid.
