If I could offer you one tip for this DVD it would be this: "Wear sunglasses". As you might have worked out, this DVD comprises 14 worship tracks, with the lyrics appearing across the screen with the music so you can sing along karaoke style. When you see lyrics appear on screens in many contemporary churches, the lyrics are backed by various pictures of landscapes, lambs, crucifixes, and candles. Not here. For example track two "Because Of Your Love" by Paul Baloche and Brenton Brown is a video collage of fluorescent pink clouds. Not red sky at night, but speeded up clouds forming and flowing with strong colour enhancement, and I mean strong. You do get landscapes and nature but everything has been washed with dye. "Grace Like Rain" is similar but with yellow clouds and slow motion yellow to orange raindrops. The final track "You, You Are God" has the blue rain going upwards and then down in what looks like Neo's Matrix. The choice of songs is fairly diverse yet clearly American, with 'He Leadeth Me' being US country & western and the opening track "Ancient Works" sounding like an Irish American Daniel O'Donnell. Many songs and their format will be familiar such as the Vineyard/Kathryn Scott classic "Hungry". My main criticism of this DVD is the title. Such strong graphics are not really suited to personal worship at home, but would be very well suited to youth groups and contemporary churches lacking in musicians.
