Reviewed by Phil Hancock This DVD has been created to allow the user to generate a live worship environment in the comfort of their home. Each song features full lyrics on the screen in large, bold text with some snazzy graphics in the background. The text takes up around a quarter of the screen and is easy to read, occasionally there is an added effect such as the words lighting up, or moving into the screen, but these are infrequent and do not detract from the visuals in any way. Images of nature are used quite often, during the song "Rising" by Paul Baloche and Matt Redman, and there are some spectacular shots of mountains and the sea. The track "God Of Wonders" also uses some awe inspiring images of space and the solar system. The tone of the DVD is quite uplifting and motivational, there are not many slow paced songs. "Salvation Is Here" by Joel Houston is an example of this, it rockets along at a pace and makes you want to jump around and wave arms in the air, which is a good thing! The sound of the crowd can be heard in places at times and this adds to the live feel. The track "Sing" by Israel Houghton and Aaron Lindsey gets the feet moving and is full of hand claps, backing singers and funky guitars. "Today Is The Day", by Lincoln Brewster and Paul Baloche, is another sing along number which raises the spirits with some rocking electric keyboard and pounding drums and a catchy uplifting chorus. However there is not much multimedia content and there could have been some added extras to the DVD, like the ability to change the text or visual settings, and the visuals do get a little repetitive. Overall though, this is a good attempt at capturing a live worship sound and exporting it to the home environment and with the text and visuals will be good for small home groups and could even be played at church.
