Reviewed by Trevor Kirk I suppose that, with the propensity these days for record labels to recycle their back catalogues at regular intervals and issue compilations of what they coyly describe as “previously released material”, we would get a two CD set with a label such as “a total worship experience”. Whilst Integrity has the material, garnered over 15 years of recording such artists as Don Moen, Darlene Zschech, Lenny LeBlanc, Paul and Rita Baloche and Bob Fitts (all of whom appear here), and more recently (via distribution deals and one-off projects with other labels) MercyMe, Darrell Evans, Eoghan Heaslip, SonicFlood, Delirious?, Robin Mark, Sara Groves and ex-Caedmon’s Call stalwart Derek Webb, the 36 tracks on this double CD album contain a fair proportion of lesser known names. I say that, not meaning a disservice to such as Ross Parsley, Chelsea Somma, Caitlin Evanson, Marshall Hall, Dave Lubben, Lisa Glasgow, Candi Pearson and Jonathan Noel, but the tracks by those singers are either songs that are not instantly recognisable (by me at least), or cover versions. But of course it's the visual elements, suitable for church use or home perusal, which give this album its particular appeal. Mainly visuals of the glories of God's creation, beautifully filmed.
