Yussuf Mwanza is a worship leader at Ealing Christian Centre in West London. The title track on this EP features singer/songwriter Errol Reid of boy band China Black. This slab of retro-styled pop-funk pushes all the right buttons. It really took me back to a late '80s/early '90s feel with some elements of the heady days of the Brit-funk bands very much to the fore here. That might make "The Sign Of Our Times" appear dated, but it really doesn't sound that way, and would actually sound very good on the radio, I reckon.
