As the title suggests, this release is aimed primarily at girls and sees contemporary songs by prominent female CCM artists such as BarlowGirl ("No One Like You"), ZOEgirl ("With All Of My Heart") and Rebecca St James ("I Thank You") given the Wonder Kids treatment. As anyone who is familiar with the work of the American children's ministry will know, this involves the songs in question being sung by children on the right channel of your stereo which can then be filtered out to allow the listener to sing along to only the backing track on the left channel. Whilst the instrumental accompaniment is of higher quality than usual for such releases with tracks such as Stacie Orrico's "More To Life" sounding passable providing you filter out the frequently tuneless vocals, this is still at times painful listening - not least due to the inclusion of an appalling rendition of "Amazing Grace", complete with a cringeworthy rap, which seems to jar against the rest of the material. All credit to Wonder Kids for attempting to introduce young girls to Christian material but, if you want your daughters to have Christ-centred music on their iPod next to Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga, you would be well advised to seek out the original versions instead.
