Currently in the UK as part of a team to raise awareness of a charity bringing help to young AIDS/HIV victims, Wholehearted are the worship team at the Every Nation church in Somerset West, just outside Cape Town. Anyone who gets their hands on a copy of this CD will quickly understand why it was nominated for Best Christian Contemporary Album at the South African Music Awards. It is a magnificent studio set with a DVD of live performances also included in the package. The song "Wholehearted" is a rousing call to worship and a challenge to the Church to get involved. "This Is Love" is a humbling reminder of God's grace. And my personal favourite, "Thank You For The Cross" where Helena Smith's lead vocal hauntingly brings out the reverence of the song. I was also stirred by "No Other", the simplest of songs on which Charl Folscher intones the words "No other name but Jesus" over a swelling wall of guitars. There are truly some wonderful new songs here and the performance/production is top notch. Try to locate a copy.
