Over two CDs and 30 songs this album takes you on a journey overlooking the current worship music landscape. The album runs through a who's who of modern worship with the well known names such as Tim Hughes, Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman joined by newer faces such as One Sonic Society, Meredith Andrews and Kristain Stanfill. The songs themselves are mostly well known numbers and are therefore very much entitled to the moniker of 'hits'. From Lincoln Brewster singing the Brenton Brown/Ken Riley penned "Everlasting God" to the Hillsong tracks "Mighty To Save" and "Shout Unto God". But it is some of the new songs that really make the album stand out as it shines a light on the future. Songs written by Charlie Hall and Reuben Morgan get spotlight here and come across with clarity the message that they carry and give us an insight into worship in 2010 and 2011. It would have been nice to see some more new songs but then we would be loosing out on the hits.
