Another year, another 'WOW Gospel' collection of gospel tracks from the best of the last 12 months. There are some great performances contained here, such as the bluesy feel to "Thank Ya Jesus" (Darrel Petties & Strength In Praise) and the wonderfully atmospheric "I Came To Jesus" (New Direction). The latter of these is a live performance which can be said for all but two of the songs. I personally would like to have seen more 'concept videos' to break up the visual experience. There is however a wonderful performance by gospel veterans The Mighty Clouds Of Joy - "Order My Steps", which is well worth checking out. Also, considering that the CD version of this has a generous 31 tracks, to have only 10 songs here seems a tad skimpy. Still, if you want recent vids from George Huff, Darwin Hobbs, Smokie Norful and several others this is worth checking out. There is a small technical problem, however, with my copy of the DVD, tracks one to six would not play as single tracks, you have to start at track one. . . seven to 10 played fine singly.
