A second compilation to raise money for the Rose Educational Foundation in the north east of England and featuring a line up of tracks, some original and some donated from other projects. You get singer/songwriter material from the excellent Liverpudlian Ste Hedley and former Quench frontman Jamie Hill and worship material from The Steels and former Yfriday singer Ken Riley. Highlights include punk/dance fusion of Chip Kendall's rabidly catchy "Solve It On The Dancefloor" and Galactus Jack's "Symmetry" which features David Strafford (yep, thebandwithnoname) on vocals. There's a gorgeous ballad from Lindsey and a remix of Golddigger's "Hanging On" by the aforementioned Galactus Jack and as usual Roo Walker is never a disappointment and London-based Shane Beales contributes the delicate "Thankyou" to close the set. All in all, this is a great snapshot of some fine British independents.
