Blind Records is a small independent out of Rochester, NY which is doing its best to break down the divide between Christian and non-Christian music. 'The Immutable Record Vol 1' offers 19 tracks by largely alternative rock acts, six by Christian acts: Vigilantes Of Love, Michael Been, Every Eye Closed, Sunday's Child, Perfect Tommy and Pipeline and the rest by non-Christian artists (of which Soma House and Fiddle While It Burns standout). The Vigilantes Of Love and Michael Been stem from the 'Strong Hand Of Love' Mark Heard tribute that many collectors will already have but the blazing guitar rock of "Solitaire" by Sunday's Child (a US radio hit) and the infectious techno house of "Motivator" by Perfect Tommy are every bit as good.
