Remember the yellow and black costumes? What about that hair and make up? Well, who could forget? (That is if you are old enough - I certainly am not.) You're probably all familiar with the tribute album concept by now so I won't explain it. There is at least one song from each Stryper album covered here, but fans of "To Hell With The Devil" will be glad to know eight of the 17 tracks are from that album. There are some different but inspired efforts such as Echoing Green's version of "You Won't Be Lonely" and Argyle Park's "Lonely" (not the same song) and "Always There For You" by Havalina Rail Co. If you like the mellower side then check out Joe Christmas' rendition of "(Waiting For) A Love That's Real". Contributions by Grammatrain. Ghoti Hook. The Blamed. Cricket. Klank and Morella's Forest all simply rock. If you're out for a laugh then listen to Fluffy"s "Honestly" or Aleixa's "Makes Me Wanna...". The album closes with a complete racket by Marriage Is Madness! This is definitely one of the best tribute albums in honour of pioneering Christian artists, mainly due to the choice of bands as they're all from the cutting edge of the Christian market.
