There is no way of getting around this but 'Songs Of Inspiration' is a dog's breakfast of a DVD. Let me explain the concept. Here are 13 songs from three artists released by Zoe Records - six from Beverley Moore and Little Debbie Dee and one from Isaac Odeniran. But are these music videos to accompany the songs? Nope! Instead what you get is what looks to be old stock film of American nature television which bears no connection whatsoever with the songs you're hearing. So you get Christian songs playing whilst bees buzz round flowers, volcanoes erupt or fish swim underwater. At best this is surreal nonsense and at worst, it's sheer rubbish. It's not as if the songs themselves are any good either. As previously reviewed on this site, each of the three artists featured have had the material from this DVD reviewed on CD and without fail, different reviewers have pointed out that all three, on the strength of their CDs at least, are average-to-poor singers. Let me sum it up simply, here are a selection of excruciatingly bad vocal performances accompanied by bizarre, unrelated, cheaply put together visual images to create a DVD that is completely without merit. It says this is volume one, pray that volume two doesn't see the light of day.
