With the marketing muscle of Time Life behind them, the 'Songs 4 Worship' series of double album compilations are breaking all kinds of sales recrods, thanks to the groundbreaking strategy of advertising them on mainstream TV. If you're a long time devotee of worship recordings or a worship leader regularly getting hot-from-the-plant recordings to keep your church's worship topped up, you'll already know many of these songs and recordings here. Because these are American compilations, there's little from the young lions of the British worship scene (like Redman, Oakley, etc, though you will find Graham Kendrick's "Only By Grace" on this set). Best track is "Jesus Lover Of My Soul" by Darlene Zschech, though some of the tracks, particularly those by the Maranatha! Singers were too bland for my tastes.
