This is the DVD equivalent of a CD I had already reviewed, with the Mighty Clouds Of Joy and The Blind Boys Of Alabama being joined by Vicki Yohe, Darlene McCoy, Darius Brooks, Lashun Pace, The Williams Sisters, Micah Stampley, the New Birth Total Praise Choir and Darrel Petties and Strength In Praise. I gave the CD six squares, thinking that whilst the Clouds and the Blind Boys were excellent, the rest was (and I quote) "a bit formulaic, church-wrecking by numbers." I have to say, however, that this is a lot better, and a lot more enjoyable, as an audio-visual thing; if you have the technology, go for the DVD instead of the CD.
