The Left Behind franchise of books has been so successful that the second movie Tribulation Force has been accompanied by albums of music "inspired by" the movie, split into different genres. This one is gospel and despite my sincere misgivings about some of the theology popularised by Left Behind and the quality of the books or movies, on a purely musical level this is a decent selection of gospel music. From the opening groove of Chester Baldwin's "God Is Good" to the closing Tim Brown number "He is Worthy", you get a roll call that includes Dottie Peoples, Norman Hutchins, Daryl Coley, Ben Tankard, Maurette Brown-Clark, Helen Baylor and Marvin Sapp. Although true A list gospel artists are largely absent from this compilation and the four best known (Coley, Sapp, Clark and Baylor) all appear on the same song, it all trundles along quite nicely in a contemporary gospel fashion. You may want to investigate.
