As an Anglican raised girl this album appealed to me immediately for two reasons. The hymns are sung by CCM artists such as Carmen, Sandi Patty and Petra, also Phil Keaggy, First Call and Wayne Watson are on the menu. The hymns are also old favourites known to most who are au fait with hymnody. I couldn't help but sing along. This album should appeal to old and young alike who are partial to a bit of hymn singing. If you're not too shy or embarrassed to admit to liking the old hymns these lushly arranged renditions by lop CCM stars may appeal.
