This five-track sampler from the Trinidad & Tobago Music Company aims to showcase the Caribbean island's Christian hip-hop fare. Unfortunately, the material contained within this EP falls well short of the mark thanks to the unwise and frankly bizarre decision by the release's producers to use the same backing track for each song. As backing tracks go, it's pretty awful too - tacky keyboard sound, minor key and zero variety - which make matters even worse. Competent rappers like DJ Nicholas, Minister Blessed and Nathanael surely deserve a better platform upon which to share their God-focused rhymes.
