This benefit compilation for New York's Seaver Autism Center from Thumper Punk Records is great value with 19 tracks in this, the first of two volumes. It opens poignantly from the perspective of parent Jimmy Sisco, speaking over a Platoon 1105 soundtrack, of his unconditional love on "The Spectrum". Punchy drums and bass guitar maintain a fast paced rhythm as The Lonely Revolts sing "Tear Down The Walls" from their 'Broken Bones Burning Hearts' CD, followed immediately by horror punk outfit Grave Robber pounding out an anthem to Indiana's legendary snapping turtle ("500 pounds of reptile") - "The Beast Of Busco". Florida-based Brazilian band Living Fire rip out a characteristically Oi punk number "Indescritivel Amor" ("Indescribable Love") at blistering pace with its old school feel while songs from The B-Listers, The Festal Shout, No Lost Cause, Britain's Peter118 all add their bit to raise autism awareness.
