  Val’s debut album is made up of some really well put together lyrics “Nothing has silenced this Gospel of Christ/It echoes down through the ages/Blood of the martyrs has made your Church strong…”  She has the backing of some talented musicians – Noel Richards and Nathan Prince to just name a couple.  Where in places her voice seems to be “out on a limb” it is skilfully brought back into line.  I would love to hear “Love Songs From Heaven” performed in a Ron Kenoly setting.  All in all it makes enjoyable listening and I am sure she will go from strength to strength.
