Tyde Moore are made up of songwriting husband and wife duo David and Krista Moor who are based in California. 'Edifier' is their latest offering and is an uplifting CCM rock EP that is packed full of rhythm and groove and features the vocal, songwriting and producing talents of Nathan Brumley. The five-track recording kicks off with the upbeat and surprisingly joyful "The Walking Dead" which has a Queen-like "We Will Rock You" beat reverberating throughout. "Shine On Boston" is another highlight as I can still recall the terrorist tragedy that happened during the Boston Marathon a couple of years ago and this song is a response to that tragedy. This song is reminiscent of some of the Psalms where one prays that their enemies do not prevail over them and that the Lord is the one in whom we shall trust. However the strongest song has got to be the anthemic "Irreplaceable" which is a CCM gem of songwriting and arrangement. It speaks of how each one of us is irreplaceable in God's eyes and was written in memory of David's brother who died of Leukaemia in 1992. The whole album contains some great production and carries a satisfyingly full sound. Nathan Brumley's vocals are top rate and really do lift your spirits. If you love CCM you need to check this EP out.
