With there being numerous languages spoken in Ghana it's not altogether surprising that this Brit reviewer has no idea what this talented emcee is rapping in what I guess to be Akan though I can hear a few English words/phrases like "gospel", "I'm the rapper" and "strong in Christ." What I can say though is that this is a hip-hop gem with an infectious staccato groove and some nice sung interjections swathed in a heap of reverb from Dare. As the first African hip-hop cut to make it to the dizzy heights of the Cross Rhythms playlist this single is also a little bit of CR's radio history.
