One of the hard facts Cross Rhythms reviewers often have to face is that usually when musicians from a local church gather in a studio to make an album "to raise funds" the results are often mediocre and sometimes embarrassing. But this project, to resource the youth ministry and congregation at All Saints parish Church, Ecclesall, Sheffield, is a spectacular exception. These are EXCELLENT songs, as good as anything you'll hear at Soul Survivor or Spring Harvest, the main lead singer (and songwriter) has a huskily appealing voice, while the production is top rate and clearly recorded in a quality studio. Crisp pop arrangements skilfully bring out songs which deal with visions of revival ("What Would It Look Like?"), a life of sacrifice ("The World Is Not Enough") and a holy fire that pushes back darkness ("I Am Yours"). An exceptional album from a church clearly going places.
