Slightly quirky acoustic rock, alternative folk or whatever they call this stuff these days. The strengths are an excellent lady lead singer in Michelle Azema and some songs which are literate (as one would expect from a group whose name springs from a John Milton poem) and, like the ironic opener, "Mr Personality", definitely catchy. The weakness is that as this set was recorded live in a club (though only once or twice do you hear an audience) there's a thinness of sound, some fluffs, particularly from the lads' bvs, and this talented team would have been better advised making a properly produced studio album rather than putting classy artwork around this weak warts-and-all recording.
