The first lady of US gospel's "other" famous dynasty returns. Track after well-chosen track showcases her seasoned, powerful vocals and lyrics like "I'm Stronger" and "On And On" seem tailor-made for her ("I'm stronger because of what I've been through/Praise the Lord, it's all because of you!") Production-wise, it's a family affair; son Jamie lends contemporary touches to "Over There", but the mostly trad gospel sound comes courtesy of Walter Hawkins, who also lends vocal support on "It's Your Power". The final Latino remix of "By His Strength" feels tacked on, but most of this comeback CD is top notch.
