The female rapper tends to get the occasional guest moment on established urban records within the holy hip-hop scene. Tragedy re-writes the books by heaving a weighty second release onto those male dominated scales. She raps tough rhymes, from her personal experience, on such subjects as marriage and Godly relationships. Although the perspective is clearly a feminine one, there is much to be learnt for the guys here too! Alkendria, Big Hale, Shei Atkins, Son Zu, SOJ and Smitty all make commendable guest appearances. But its Tragedy's talent at telling a story that stands out; most prevalent on "The Struggle" where she outlines the pains of putting your life in line with what God wants. Tight production and an upfront commercial sound, rooted in the dirty south vibe, sit this LP somewhere between Grits and Out Of Eden. 'Princess Cut' portrays the coming of age of a rising star and is a highly listenable, beautifully crafted urban album.

This female caught my ears the first time that I listened to her on a DJ Primo Mix. She brings a fresh sound to the surface, and one that will be difficult to imitate. I will purchas her entire album and blast it in my car. I pray that her passion will forever linger on because I will support her through sales and will turn many other christians on to her.
