Continentals producers Cam Floria, Leen Le Riviere and Rob de Jong have put together a set of upbeat songs and provided a snappy set of arrangements for this long-running teen choir, a spin-off from the original Continentals group. Unfortunately, this album doesn't quite come off. The vocals are less than confident and there are some truly dire attempts at rapping - European kids with American accents and dodgy diction simply sound wet. But elsewhere some of the ensemble stuff is energetic and uplifting, even if there's a sneaking sense of ennui in much of the delivery. A couple of the songs - "Savior Song" and "Lifesong" - are well above average but overall there are too many dull songs and weak performances to sustain an entire album.
