As the '80s dawned, the Walls Brothers band headed into the studio to record their fifth and final album. Their swansong saw them continue with the trademark harmonies but with a smoother cleaner sound. This time out, the overall impact of the album isn't as strong though there are enough highlights to create interest. The closing ballad "He Must've Planned It That Way" is tinged with sweet vocals and a gorgeous guitar solo. "What's Your Hope In" has a strong message and a cool slow funky groove but the uplifting "I Am Free" is probably the outstanding track on this set with its swirling synths and triumphant message.
