Reviewed by Steve Best For those who may be unaware, a couple of things: First, this year's Stoneleigh event was the last, and second, the Stoneleigh Band, pretty much made up of the brilliant Phatfish plus friends, will continue. This album, recorded in April this year in Brighton at the New Frontiers Church Of Christ The King (Phatfish and Paul Oakley's home church) features worship led by Stuart Townend, Kate Simmonds and Lou Fellingham, along with an enthusiastic choir and congregation. The songs are largely home grown, and I must make special mention here of the Megamix Kids Madness-like romp "Thank You Lord You Love Us". In fact what really marks this set out from so many others are the innovative and imaginative arrangements, which always augment and never take away from the songs. Indeed, some, like on Stuart Townend's fantastic "All My Days (Beautiful Saviour)", which is fast becoming a classic, are downright daring but ultimately inspired, as is this entire album.
