Following on from 2012's 'A Lick And A Promise' and with their new drummer Rory, the Newcastle-based blues rock band have released a five-track EP. Continuing with their strong '70s rock sound that echoes the glories of the likes of Bad Company and Cream and with lyrics that come from a Christian perspective though are not overtly pushing the Gospel, this is very good stuff. Gareth's vocals carry the lyrics clearly above the strong guitar and driving bass/drum lines filled out by some nice organ and subtle female backing vocals. The quieter blues ballad "What's Taking You So Long" is handled with equal aplomb. All in all a really good blues rock band with some memorable songs.
