The Scooterz are a two man punk team from Colorado who use a drum machine. But don't let that put you off. They've got a winning way with punk songs with titles like “I Hate My Job” and “Fish Wear Shoes” while their (incredibly programmed) drum machine ‘Alesis’ has band member status. Throughout their music being great fun to listen to. Scooterz sometimes sound unashamedly ‘80s with their choice of keyboard sounds but George Hosni’s songs still manage to fight their way through. For the most part ‘Corner Of Depression’ rocks out like any good punk album should. If you have no Christian punk in your collection as yet, this engaging indie release could start you off quite nicely.
