"The Proclaimer" sounds like "Stepping Stone" (Monkey's c1967) - very cutting edge. But this apart, it's adult rock from a new band from Tonbridge, Kent, with wonderful instrumentals throughout and, apart from the very beginning of the first track, good vocal work. Certainly a promising start. My 15 year old daughter suggested that some of the lyrics were a bit "cheesy and perhaps a bit disingenuous towards God.” I'm inclined to agree. However the more mature listener will get a good deal out of the album through careful and, I suspect, repeated listening. This EP also features an unnecessary hidden track. Congrats to all involved - here's to the next one.
