If the Neil Jenkins Chorale showed up on your doorstep singing carols at Christmas, you would be seriously impressed. This is a lovely selection including lots of traditional English wassails and some well known and loved European and American carols too. All are sung unaccompanied in the English Church choral style with different and interesting harmonisations. I would have liked a little more information on the carols, their composers and writers, and arrangers. Apart from that quibble, this CD would be a worthy addition to any collection of Christmas music.
