The fact that this recording originates from south-east London disguises its African style. The Monene's consist of the husband and wife team of Paul-Martial and Juliet Monene. They compliment each other on each track, as Mrs Monene sings lead vocals, whilst Mr Monene generally starts and ends each track with his incredibly deep bass spoken word. The phrase "Dance for Jesus, Eh Cha-Chi, Cha-Cha-Cha" manages to get slipped in by Mr Monene on most tracks, along with his jovial call to praise. Musically, the instrumentation consists of a jangly African style guitar, with a pan pipe bubbly keyboard line, and unobtrusive sensitive drumming, sufficient to inspire any tourist to get up any dance. The vocal lines are normally led by Mrs Monene with harmonic backing in the choruses to help keep the tune whilst the lyrics purely focus on praising the Lord.
