I would imagine that after 46 years of ministry, one of the challenges faced by a group like the Mighty Clouds Of Joy is how to stay fresh and interesting to old and new fans alike. This live album recorded in 2006 achieves just that. In fact it's so hot your CD player may start steaming! Starting with the encouraging "Jesus Will Turn It Around", the disc presents old school quartet gospel at its best along with a surprise or two, such as the great track "Something To Thank God For" which is closer to pop than gospel. There are also tracks for the traditional gospel listener such as "It's Already Done" and "God Hears"; there is plenty for old and new fans here with Joe Liggon and his buddies still able to tear up a congregation like few other groups.
