Down the years there have been hundreds of male/female duets populating the Christian music scene but these guys stand out from the crowd. America's The Lowly Heirs consist of Kristian Gautier and Meredith O'Hara, and have been ministering since 2017. This single shows them hitting a creative seam of gold. Kristian has one of those brittle voices that seems to exude haunting fragility while Meredith's husky tones, though less distinctive, is a perfect foil for Kristian's tones. Production on "Center Of It All" is good, with the synth wash and sparingly used drumming adding dynamics to a memorable mid-tempo worshipful song. I've little doubt there will be more quality music to come from these two.
