Growing up in the '80s I have seen a number of keyboard-driven local Christian bands that were really committed to conveying the Gospel through their music. However, there was only one problem - they were never that good. And what are they doing now? Answer: still playing the same old stuff_but this time they have kids to involve. Trying to be positive, there is a satisfying thump to "Searching" and the dying chords of "I Would Be Glad" try and apologise for the rest of the typically contrived track, but this is not nearly enough. "Work_" begins with a promisingly atmospheric organ sound only to be overthrown by the synthetic cacophony that only a 15-year-old Casio can make. John Major appears to make a special guest appearance, providing the scriptural narrative for "The Temptation"; a first - yes, but hardly fitting. And these are the "good" points. Utterly twee, this is, sadly, a confused mess. It could have been released about two decades ago, but even then it would have been given a thumbs down.
