American songwriter/composer Terry MacAlmon is well known by viewers of Christian TV for his worship albums of original and contemporary songs arranged classically. His latest offering hardly strays into new territory. Granted, all the songs here are rendered instrumentally with Terry on the piano accompanied by a lush orchestra. But it seldom catches fire. Containing mainly original songs penned by Terry himself, the theme, not surprisingly given the album title, is God's Glory and Holiness (only one song doesn't mention the words holy or glory somewhere in the lyrics!). Presumably the idea of printing the lyrics on the inlay to an instrumental album is not meant to be ironic but meant to be an aid for transferring these songs in to a corporate worship setting: clever! Overall this is a well produced album, containing well rehearsed orchestral versions of Terry's songs.

Product Description
Holy! Is Terry MacAlmon’s brand-new piano instrumental featuring a 70-piece orchestra. Terry travelled to Prague, Czech Republic, for the opportunity to record with the philharmonic orchestra in one of Europe’s most captivating cities.
Holy! Will impact any believer who needs a deeper walk with God because the anointing helps to bring the presence of the Lord. And of course it’s in His presence that we experience refreshing and renewal. You will love the new arrangements of some of your favourites along with several tunes Terry wrote expressly for this recording.
