This is singer, songwriter and producer Terrance Bell's third album since his debut in 2003. 'God My Hero' is an unashamed, passionate and joyful outpouring of gospel music. The opener "God's Worth" kicks off the ride in up-tempo fashion while "Heaven's Gates" continues the mood of celebration ("I can't wait/Just to get to heaven's gates") with the sumptuous title track providing even more energy. There are tender moments like the smooth single "God Is God" and piano-laden "Whisper" and traditional gospel balled "Face To Face" with Kristina Evans. The message in the songs is clear and unequivocal which although not subtle is blended with a tight, above average R&B gospel production which elevates and soothes the soul.
