DeRock (vocals, keys) and Brysson (guitar) were once members of hard rockers Post Mortum but are now working as a duo and have toured relentlessly, clocking up 150 events each year. This four-song Christmas offering doesn't offer too many surprises on "Joy To The World", "Angels We Have Heard On High" and "Deck The Halls", each song given accomplished though hardly original pop rock run throughs. By far the best is the title track original with an Americana flavour supplied by a banjo and DeRock showing plenty of husky passion as he sings about the incarnation. Yep, 'One Star' is a winner for that track alone.
